Midlands Occupational Therapy offers an assessment and therapy service for children and adolescents who have a range of developmental difficulties including: • Autistic Spectrum Disorders including Asperger’s • Sensory Processing Disorders (also known as Sensory Integration Dysfunction) • Dyspraxia/Developmental Coordination Disorder • ADHD • Learning and Physical Difficulties • General Developmental Difficulties • Cerebral Palsy • Acquired Brain Injury We accept referrals from parents, families, schools, case managers, doctors and solicitors. A free consultation (for up to 30 minutes) is offered to every enquiry to determine if we can meet your child’s needs. All fees are agreed with you up front – there are never any hidden extras. We are happy to work in any setting appropriate to the child including home, school, nurseries and care settings. We will work alongside or liaise with other health professionals involved in your child's care including physiotherapists, speech and language therapists and psychologists, either private or NHS, to provide a multi disciplinary approach and ensure continuity of care. Our aim is to provide a holistic service tailored to your specific needs and offer practical advice and solutions which will make a real difference to your child. We also currently provide weekly input into four special schools across the West Midlands as part of the strategy of those schools to improve services for pupils with Autism.
