Training

Bespoke training packages can be offered on a range of subjects. This can be specific to an individual child, or on more general topics such as dyspraxia or sensory processing. Training can involve a combination of lectures and more practical experiential tasks to experience how it might feel for a child. It can vary from one hour to train staff working with a specific child, to whole school inset days, or talk to regional groups. Midlands OT have experience of providing training or talks to: • Parents • Autism groups • Support groups for specific conditions such as dyspraxia or genetic conditions. • Schools including special schools, independent schools and mainstream schools • Housing providers • Professional groups (such as other OT’s or other health professionals)
